About ServiceSetu

ServiceSetu is an online service marketplace owned and managed by LOGITECH. Our platform helps homeowners, businesses, and individuals connect with qualified and independent service providers for a wide range of services, including deep cleaning, pest control, catering, photography, decoration, and other related solutions.

ServiceSetu operates exclusively as a technology-enabled intermediary platform. We provide a convenient medium for Service Users to discover and engage Service Professionals. However, ServiceSetu is not a party to any agreement, contract, or arrangement entered into between Service Users and Service Professionals. The delivery, execution, quality, and completion of services are solely the responsibility of the respective Service Professional.

Changes to These Terms

LOGITECH may amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its sole discretion. Any revisions will be published on this page along with the updated effective date. Users are encouraged to review these Terms regularly.

By continuing to access or use the ServiceSetu platform after such updates are posted, you acknowledge and accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you should stop using the platform immediately.

Account Registration and Eligibility

Eligibility:

The ServiceSetu platform is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into enforceable agreements under applicable Indian laws.

Account Registration:

Certain platform features require the creation of an account. During registration, users must provide information such as their name, email address, mobile number, and password. Additional details may be requested when necessary.

Account Security:

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us immediately at support@ServiceSetu .in.

Account Suspension or Termination:

ServiceSetu reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account found to be in violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice.

Acceptable Use of the Platform

When using ServiceSetu , you agree that you will not:

• Publish inaccurate, deceptive, fraudulent, or defamatory information.
• Pretend to be another person, business entity, or ServiceSetu representative.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to collect or access platform data without authorization.
• Misuse, collect, or disclose personal information belonging to other users.
• Upload, share, or distribute offensive, abusive, unlawful, discriminatory, or obscene content.
• Attempt to avoid platform fees, payment procedures, or billing systems.
• Encourage users or service professionals to conduct transactions outside the platform.
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
• Violate intellectual property rights belonging to others.
• Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

Guidelines for Service Professionals

Accurate Information:

Service Professionals must ensure that all information provided regarding services, qualifications, experience, and service locations is truthful and up to date.

Verification Requirements:

Professionals may be required to complete verification procedures, including Aadhaar, PAN, skill assessments, or background verification checks.

Professional Behavior:

All professionals are expected to maintain ethical and professional conduct while using the platform and delivering services.

No Circumvention of the Platform:

Professionals must not attempt to conduct transactions outside ServiceSetu in order to avoid platform processes or fees.

Enforcement Measures:

ServiceSetu may remove listings, suspend accounts, withhold payments, or take appropriate legal action where violations occur.

Guidelines for Service Users

Service Users agree to:

• Request services with a genuine intention to hire and pay for them.
• Provide accurate information regarding service requirements, location, and contact details.
• Interact respectfully and professionally with Service Professionals.
• Complete payments in accordance with agreed terms.
• Report concerns or disputes through ServiceSetu 's official support channels.

Payments, Charges, and Refunds

For Service Users:

Browsing and searching for services on ServiceSetu is free of charge. Payments for services may be processed securely through accepted payment methods including UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets.

For Service Professionals:

Basic registration and listing may be available at no cost. ServiceSetu may introduce premium subscriptions, lead charges, or other service fees in the future.

Refund Policy:

Refunds may be considered in cases such as service cancellation before assignment, professional no-shows, or where the delivered service substantially differs from the agreed scope.

Tax Responsibilities:

Service Professionals are solely responsible for their own tax obligations. ServiceSetu bears no responsibility for taxes arising from services provided through the platform.

Intellectual Property

All platform content, including text, graphics, logos, software, and related materials, is the property of LOGITECH or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any platform content without prior written permission.

By submitting content to ServiceSetu , you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The ServiceSetu platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. LOGITECH does not make any representations or warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the operation, reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform or services offered through it.

Specifically, we do not guarantee that:

• The platform will operate continuously, securely, or without technical issues.
• Information supplied by Service Professionals is complete, accurate, or current.
• Services obtained through the platform will fully satisfy individual expectations or requirements.

Although ServiceSetu conducts verification procedures for Service Professionals, we cannot guarantee that every professional has a completely clean criminal, legal, or safety record. Users should exercise their own discretion and judgement when engaging service providers.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOGITECH, including its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates, shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from:

• Accessing or using, or being unable to access or use, the ServiceSetu platform.
• Services provided, delayed, cancelled, or improperly delivered by Service Professionals.
• Unauthorized access to systems, servers, accounts, or user information.
• Inaccuracies, omissions, or errors in platform content.
• Disagreements, claims, or disputes between Service Users and Service Professionals.

ServiceSetu functions solely as a marketplace connecting users and service providers. We are not a party to any contract or agreement formed between them, and disputes arising from services must be resolved directly by the involved parties.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with your use of the ServiceSetu platform, we request that you first contact us at support@ServiceSetu .in to seek an amicable resolution.

Where a resolution cannot be achieved through direct communication, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration before pursuing court proceedings.

Governing Law:

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Jurisdiction:

Any legal proceedings related to these Terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Third-Party Websites and Resources

The ServiceSetu platform may include links to external websites, services, or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided solely for user convenience. LOGITECH neither controls nor endorses the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites and assumes no responsibility for them.
